Oh how I love the freshness of Spring. It brings out a different color palette and fun little projects. I've decided to get a jumpstart on some Easter projects. These little containers will be perfect for holding little treats!
I love this little flower heart. I made the little flowers from an old dictionary and them put the finest glitter on them for the special little touch. I'm working on a picture frame to hang it from.
I love making these lil' paper mache birds. I did a few white ones for Silver Bella with the rhinestone necklace. Thought I needed a few more for Spring. The bluebird is so sweet. I used my favorite turquoise leaves for wings and of course mica. Who doesn't love mica??? The nests were made from birch twigs I gathered the other day at Jenn's house. Wish I had one of those trees in my backyard!!! :)
And my favorite....I've been envisioning how I wanted to use this picture for weeks. Came across the picture at my mother-in-laws in a laundry basket of old pictures she's been hiding. No one had ever seen them before.
The sweetest sisters....my mother-in-law and her older sisters taken sometime during World War II. The colors are so soft and perfect. I had this old frame and wedding headpiece forever. Glad I could finally put them to use.
I've got a little more creating to do and then lots of cuddling with baby Peyton. Talk about the sweetest thing around. Joe and I could hold him for hours on end. Joe might be even worse then I am!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
xoxo
